Breath-taking Quality

Luftwaffe Generalstabsingenieur overcoat for sale. A stunning coat tailored in the finest field-blue doeskin cloth, and with the pink piped collar and pink lapels. The coat complete with its matching full general rank epaulettes with entwined silver and gold wires on white doeskin, and with one silvered pip to each. The collar patches for the rank of Generalstabsingenieur, with golden wire triprops within a full golden wire wreath, all on a pink doeskin base, and with golden wire piping. Golden pebble finished buttons throughout. The overcoat with a full woven tailors label of the Chemnitz-based tailors of Gustav Glaser. The lining in a beautiful blue-grey coloured silk.

Condition report: Overall excellent condition, with light age visible. Some light wear to the interior. No holes, or other damage. All mercuric gilt pebble buttons in place. The insignia lightly toned with age. 

Notes: With only one, maybe two Luftwaffe engineers holding this rank, it should be possible to work out the original owner of this overcoat.
